uncommon sense

A blog about unorthodox personal development, hard to swallow pills, and wisdom to live by.

“It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.” – Jiddu Krishnamurti

You have been lied to.

Most of the beliefs you have acquired about how life and the world work are inoperative.

  • You are not defect because of your failures;
  • Power is not evil;
  • Women are not attraced to nice guys;
  • Hard work does not (necessarily) bring wealth;
  • Selflessness is not rewarded…

These are only a few examples of the beliefs most people hold, often unconsciously. It is convenient to believe in these lies – that’s why they exist. They are convenient, but they are counterproductive if you want to achieve anything beyond your current situation: more mental and physical health, more money, more success, more peace of mind, etc.

This blog is about dissecting those lies and replacing them with more operative ideas. Welcome!
